Sometimes life throws you a curve ball. The truest test of our character is how we react to those times. I have been blessed two times in my life. The first blessing is my 16 year old daughter, Caitlin. She is a responsible and loving girl who helps me remember why I love being a mom. My second blessing came sixteen years later. I recently gave birth to my second child, Maitland. She is so happy and brings such joy to my heart. Yes, I have two children sixteen years apart. What a trip these last few months have been. Yes, it was unexpected, but I can't imagine my life without either of my girls. Caitin is such a wonderful big sister and Maitland loves her sis. What more could a mother ask for?

well i am a young mother of 4 2 girls 2 boys ages 7,5,2, and 5 months. well i had a c section with my last all the others were completly natural,.. the drs exoected her to be like 10 ponds bc all my others were big well she came out being only 7 pounds i was so mad i could have pushed out as a breeze lol but oh well all that matters is shes here and i love her and all them!

OMG you guys had me crying on the other end. That was funny, but true.

Well my three year old was the only child for three years. His brother was born two days after his birthday. When we first came home he would look at him but not touch him. He helped get bath stuff ready, helped get stuff together to change diapers. He is a good big brother now he is wanting to hold him more and play more. My second is only two weeks old. My three year old finally said that he thought when i brought his bubba home that he would be able to play with him like another three year old. LOL But he is getting better about that. Now I just have to watch him so he don't just pick his brother up anytime he wants.

That was so funny but at the same time it makes me sad! I'm afraid it's pretty close to how my oldest feels. He definitely shows signs of jealousy and a desire to be an only child. I hope he doesn't feel second best b/c he's not.
